50th Anniversary Art AuctionThe Port Alberni Association for Community Living celebrated it's 50th anniversary in 2007 with an art auction. Art work was donated by various artists and individuals in the community, Dave's Catering supplied a delicious assortment of appetizers and desserts, Barry Miller entertained us all with his piano playing and Cindy Solda graciously acted as our auctioneer. Thanks to these individuals, and the overwhelming support of the community, we were able to raise over $6600.00 for the new Port Alberni ACL Foundation.
Alex is one of the artists who donated a piece of original art to the event.
Rollin Arts Centre was a great help in choosing which items should be put in the live auction, and which would be silent auction items.
The support from artists and individuals in the community was overwhelming, filling multiple tables with donated items.
Thank you to everyone who helped make this event such a huge success. |
