October Is Community Living Month!Family Fun Fair October 21st, 2010 4:00-7:00 pm Glenwood Centre The Province of British Columbia and the BC Association for Community Living have proclaimed October as Community Living Month. During the month of October, communities around the province and across Canada will be celebrating the gifts that people with developmental disabilities bring to our vibrant and diverse communities. In Port Alberni, Parks and Recreation is partnering with Community Living British Columbia, the Ministry of Children and Family Development, Alberni Valley Citizen Advocacy Society and the Port Alberni Association for Community Living to host a Family Fun Fair in celebration of Community Living Month. The free event will be held on October 21st from 4pm to 7pm at Glenwood Center.
