CARF
CARF (The Commission of Accredited Rehabilitation Facilities) Accreditation
In April of 2008, the Port Alberni Association for Community Living was surveyed by CARF. CARF is an international monitoring body that ensures that all agencies that are accredited meet the highest standards for quality service.
Quality standards include:
- that the services offered meet the needs of individuals
- that individuals are satisfied with their services
- that individuals have service plans in place that identify their goals
- that the organization sees Health and & Safety of high importance and has plans in place to keep people safe.
- that Workers are qualified to do their jobs.
